We want to send a heartfelt Thank You to everyone that made this years festivities a success. All the Volunteers, Vendors, Bands, and Security, we couldn’t have done it with you. We had a little over 350 people show up throughout the day, and raised over $170 for JOMP (Joy Of Music Program in Worcester). Here’s to next year!

It’s This Saturday!

With school starting and summer quickly closing, what better way to spend your labor day weekend than a great big music festival? In just four days, the first annual Open Road Music Festival – an earth-friendly music and arts festival – will be held in Worcester’s very own Institute Park. Among the many top regional acts performing are Goosepimp Orchestra, Love In Stockholm, The Neighbors and The Roadkill Orchestra. Our national headliner is none other than the Sam Kininger Band (of Soulive and Lettuce).

If you’ve not purchased your tickets yet, there’s still time and you have options. You can buy them online for $15. Otherwise, any of the bands playing have tickets for $10; contact them via their website before Saturday to get at the discount! You can buy tickets at the gate for $20 too.

We hope you can all make it out for a tons of entertainment, including a kids area, hula hooping, and live art collaboration, See you Saturday!

The Pulse Magazine

Check out The Pulse Magazine, a free monthly lifestyle & entertainment magazine. Paul and the rest of The Pulse crew were nice enough to sponsor the festival. We have a 1/2 page AD in this month’s (August) issue, so check it out at any of their locations.

In other festival news, we’ve received our banners, posters, postcards, and other snazzy promotional materials. The festival is in less than 30 days, so please grab your $15 ticket online. If you want to support the bands, you can also grab them from any band for a cheaper price.

We hope to see all of you on September 4th!

Just a friendly reminder, $8 pre-sale tickets end tomorrow at midnight. Get your tickets early before they get raised to $15!

Also Vendor deadline is THIS FRIDAY! We only have 3 more vendor spots left, so please send in your payments and/or application.

Tickets can now be purchased online for a low pre-sale price of $8 through Venuevents. After August 4, the price will go up to the regular price of $15. If you procrastinate, you can get them at the gate for $20 on the day of the festival. The tickets will be printed on 50% recycled paper too!

Welcome Sam Kininger Band!

We proudly welcome Sam Kininger Band (Soulive & Lettuce) as the headlining band this year. Goosepimp Orchestra and Hat On Drinking Wine have also been added to rock the Main Stage. Kayla Daly and James Keyes will grace the Side Stage. Check out the list so far, we still have a few more artists coming your way!
